Hey everyone! My birthday is coming up and i am really wanting to do my hair, but i have severe anxiety in salons so i always do my own. I usually just do vivids, but i want a more natural highlighted brown (to match my roots but add dimension and grow out well). I am unsure of how to approach! My hair is currently grown out a bit at the roots, i did a whole head of pink last year and then dyed over that with a brown/maroon color for a wedding so the fading is pretty orangey! Any advice on how to approach this? Not sure if i should do my base color first, then highlight and tone? or vise versa or something totally different 🤣 Thanks for any advice!!
