However, the world is very different from 2020. Most countries have pandemic response plans, mRNA vaccine technology is more advanced, remote work infrastructure is established, and public trust in health authorities varies dramatically between nations.
How would governments react? Would populations comply with new restrictions, or would pandemic fatigue lead to widespread resistance? How would the global economy respond to another major health crisis? Could international cooperation recover, or would countries once again turn inward?
Most importantly, how would a generation that already lived through one pandemic react to facing another?
