Review of wilco hardcover set
Hello everyone, I have recently bought the George Orwell hardcover set by Wilco for 2599 and this post is about its binding,paper.cover,print etc
Print-not recycled wood pulp paper as shown .Texture is smooth ,colour varies with light but kinda creamy.
Cover-similar to penguin classic unabriged edition book material .the good thing is that it is'nt ink based so won't be removed
Print-No problems ,good comfortable font with notes, explanation and intro given.
Binding-Can't identify .If someone knows about it can comment so that I can edit it .
Personal review-1)paper quality is good for price .It is even comparable to some costly edtion of 1k,2k,3k,4k.Again expeptions are there with thick fully non transparent pages(harper collins hardback ,everymans library, easton press etc.I have seen reviews in yt and some in personal)
2)Not very light but also not heavy however using paperback is more comfortable for reading.
3)You also wont get that bookish woody smell from it but the advantage is that it most probably will take much time to yellow
4)Therfore I would say this set is quite good for its price range however if you wanna go for best library level hardcover then go for everyman.(Don't go for penguin clothbound as the ink on the cover is slowly removed with handling)
