Profile Review For Deferred MBA
Hi guys, I am at my 4th year and this is my current profile:
- Southeast Asian, low income, first gen
- BBA (Marketing focus). Private university, scholarship 80% tuition fees for 4 years.
- GPA: 3.6, GMAT (new): 685 ~ 740 (old)
- Exchange semester to HKUST and SNU
- Extra-curriculars: President of Music Club, Work-study at University Admission, Member of Business Club & TEDX. Delegate at some international forums about CSR and innovation
- Internships: Strategic Partnership at TikTok, Strategy Intern at EY Parthenon, Account Management at a local marketing agency, Marketing at a local comestic brand
- Got return offer to TikTok E-commerce
- Others: HSK4, Champion of some small Marketing competitions
My work experiences involves partnership, strategy and bringing local products into global market, I think I would bring this into my narratives for the essay. Do i stand a chance for Silver Scholar at Yales (i think they do focus on the society value), HBS, Wharton or any other top Deferred MBA? I want to have more career opportunities in foreign countries in in-house business strategy after my MBA.
