We are a family traveling to Sri Lanka in July first week with kids and planning this itinerary:

Negombo → Kandy → Nuwara Eliya → Ella → Udawalawe → Unawatuna → Colombo

We are looking to hire a private taxi/driver for around 7–8 days for the full trip.

Could anyone please guide:
• Approximate cost for a comfortable and safe private cab with driver?
• Any trusted travel agency or independent driver recommendations?
• Is it better to pre-book from abroad or arrange after reaching Sri Lanka?
• Are fuel, tolls, parking, and driver accommodation usually included?

Also, if anyone has family-friendly tips for these places, please share 😊
We prefer a safe, budget-friendly, and reliable option.
