Can't fall asleep before 1:30 AM even though I go to bed at 12.

28/M. 5.5 weight 59

I lie in bed at 12 but can't sleep until 1–1:30, so I wake up late. I want to become a morning person. I've taken magnesium glycinate for a long time with no real help, and sometimes use Benadryl but don't want to depend on it. Any advice?

Honestly, how much more "development" are we supposed to just accept without asking questions?

First they moved the airport so far out that a trip that used to take abt an hour now eats up your whole afternoon. Fine, we swallowed that one. Now there is talk of data centres going up on top of it, with massive water use, massive power draw, and a skyline that is about to get a lot uglier for anyone living nearby. Property values near these things do not exactly go up either.

Here is the part that actually gets me though. Some of these centres might get built before there is even a confirmed tenant lined up. So the land gets cleared, the view is gone, the water and power get sucked up, and there is a real chance the building just sits there half empty because the AI demand everyone is betting on never actually shows up at that scale.

So basically, we take the damage now, permanently, while some company runs a bet on whether AI usage keeps climbing. If it does not, we are not left with jobs or infrastructure we actually needed. We are left with a hollowed out mega building and a drained water table.

I am saying all this because I actually came across a write up on this exact problem a bit back, not just guessing here:
