Hey everyone, me and my girlfriend are planning our first Himalayan trek and currently thinking about Hampta Pass in July. Wanted honest opinions from people who’ve actually done it.

Is Hampta Pass a good choice for complete first timers?

How difficult is it physically and mentally?

Is July a good time or too risky because of rain/weather?

We were checking Indiahikes and TTH, but they seem pretty expensive. Are they actually worth paying extra for?

Any other reliable trekking companies you’d recommend for beginners?

Also open to other beginner-friendly Himalayan trek suggestions if Hampta isn’t ideal.

Would really appreciate advice, packing tips, budget expectations, or things you wish you knew before your first trek.
