Everyone has their own way for panning and mine currently is putting my "seasonal makeup" in one place. I know it's a lot! But I do love variety and it's still only a part of my collection - so I am trying to find a middle ground that would work best for me and let me progress. There are some products I will probably have to add here as I am sure I will run out of bronzer and base. Probably also setting spray, powder and lip balms (one of them is almost empty).

I hope to wear makeup often this autumn, it makes me feel so pretty 🤫

Proud of all the empties, they give me hope that one day I will feel much less overwhelmed with all the products I own! I have also started doing makeup regularly few weeks ago and it brings me a log of joy.

On the right side are empties, and on the left some products I am working on currently and hope to make further progress soon! I think I should be able to finish Charlotte Tilbury's base (I don't like it and will not repurchase for sure) and Mario's cream bronzer within few weeks.

I have started doing my makeup for work even at home sometimes, I feel like it makes me more "grounded" and ready to focus on my tasks when I know I have put some effort to prepare myself. Makes no sense probably, but if it works, I am not questioning it. This has also resulted in me doing my makeup more frequently, which is not usual for me during summer. I am a cold-loving creature so I am usually too busy melting 🫠 to put something on my face. But here we are.

The products are:

1. Sephora contour stick in 1

2. PuroBio concealer in 01

3. AA cosmetics eyeshadow topper in 02 Moonbeam - I use it as highlighter even though I have a ton of highlighters...

4. Makeup by Mario cream bronzer in Light

5. ABH mini sugar palette

The thing that excited me the most are not even pans (I am still super happy about them of course), but the fact I have limited my spendings. I did not manage to go on full no buy, but I am getting there. Within last months, I have only bought a few things I really, really wanted and thought about them, so no more impulse purchases.

I feel ashamed that I still sometimes feel the urge to just go and buy SOMETHING (anything!) to feel the dopamine rush. But I have started recognizing these patterns and resisting them!

1. Charlotte Tilbury Crystal Dimension eyeliner - another products showing me CT products are NOT worth the price whatever this woman might be saying :/

2. OnlyBio hair oil in blueberry - it was pleasant, I've had two bottles of this scent and they are now both gone

3. Tołpa Sebio Start face cream - very lightweight! Loving the pump

4. Bath and Body Works mist in Poolside Cabana - it took me so long to finish it it's almost funny

5. Venita hair colour mousse - I've used them a lot in the past and still have some left (2 bottles I think?) but they changed the formula to worse :(

6. Beauty of Joseon eye serum - great pump, very nice product, I think I will repurchase

It is super hot and I have no energy of doing anything, but I hope this month I will finish some more skincare and hit pan on a cream blush 🤞

4Organic lip balm in coco cookie. Smelled really nice (I love coconut). At first I didn't like it, but it grew on me and I enjoyed it. I have a ton of lip products, so it feels great to have one less!

I will soon need to shop my skincare stash again and it does make me really excited to be honest! It feels so good to see I am making progress. I am also writing down anything new I buy, so I can compare it to what I use up within a month. For now, June looks great - hardly any new products and many empties!

Products shown this time are:

1. Isntree Hyaluronic Acid toner - very nice one, I might buy it again in the future, but for now I have many other toners I need to use

2. Stars from the Stars texturing hair spray - I was unsure at first but ended up loving it for my favorite messy hair look

3. AA Lab daytime face cream with Centella - I love the pump! The formula was nice and it worked well, but for summer I prefer something lighter

4. Skin1004 face serum with tea-trica whatever that means - nice and super lightweight. I don't think it would work for dry skin, but for my combination skin it is a good serum and I might buy it again

5. Sheglam coconut face mist - not sure what it was supposed to be doing, it was not good for setting makeup, but I used it after powders to make it look less powdery. Afterwards, I have been following up with my setting makeup spray. Would not rebuy.

I am super proud about finishing my third SF lip balm! I still have few left + many from other brands, but I am making progress and that's what matters.

Products are:

1. Summer Fridays Hot Cocoa lip balm

2. Primark body mist in Capri Breeze (SdJ 39 dupe)

3. Erborian mini BB cream - was too dark for me, but I managed to finish it anyway by mixing

4. Lovely Circus Collection nail polish

Very sad to see this Rituals shower foam gone! It was my last one from this limited edition collection and I liked it a lot.

I am super proud that I managed to finish a nail polish and my third (!) Summer Fridays lip balm

I've had this Wild deodorant in coconut & vanilla version. I am getting rid of the whole packaging, I will not be rebuying the refill so there is no point in keeping it.

Overall, I have finished most of my "almost empty" products and will now be slowing down a bit 🙌

So happy to get rid of all those packages! I am still focusing on finishing the stuff that has been almost empty for some time already and it's going great.

My biggest achievement here is for sure the Moia pressed powder that I did not enjoy. I still have the transparent version which I hope will be a bit better.

I try not to bring too much stuff from the storage to bathroom drawers and I am seeing progress already 🥹 shopping my stash when the time comes will be for sure so satisfying. Can't wait to dig into the fresh bottles of stuff I bought in the past 😮‍💨

5. Moia face powder in 01 Light Ivory - I am so glad it is finally done and I can move on to another powder. Not a fan of this one. I have a transparent version left to use and I hope it will be better than this one

Something must have switched in my head when I moved to a different flat, because keeping a lot of empties in my drawers suddenly feels overwhelming, so I don't want to collect them for a whole month 🙂‍↕️

I really like shower foams from Rituals! On the other hand, the cleansing balm from Drunk Elephant is imho awful. Won't be repurchasing for sure.

Trying to minimize my collection, as I feel really overwhelmed after having to move it all to a different place 😭 I also have less storage space here, the previous flat had a walk-in closet where I kept most of my beauty stuff as well.

1. Gosh mascara - I really like it! But the black-pink version is still my favorite

3. Some body mist my mom bought for me somewhere after 39 by SdJ got discontinued. It is now back but it was so thoughtful 🥹

Lip balm got a bit waxy at the end, so it was a relief to get it done 🥲

Moving to a new flat made me realize I have even more products than I thought. It is awful, but hey, at least I can now avoid spending money on beauty 🥲 gotta learn to be excited about buying dental care products...
