I have gotten him past the first deathblow consistently but i have a real problem dodging the flames when he slams his fist forward. I have tried jumping and gotten it before but it hardly works usually. I do have the umbrella for fire so thats working fine but im running out of emblems pretty fast. Any tips to help me beat him better? Ill fo anything but the cheese because i actually want to beat him not just say i killed him.

Ive beaten every souls game except sekiro and ds2. The farthest ive gotten was to guardian ape and then i quit. Now i want to try and completely beat sekiro after beating ds1 for the first time i think i can do it with enough time put into it. Please give me advice on guardian ape especially that asshole almost made me break my controller lol. Ill make a part 2 when ive gotten to guardian ape and ill continue on after that.
