Is there a valid hadith that supports this?
My family for the longest time have tried to impose hijab upon me in my house even though I am not living with any non mahrams.
They always quote this one hadith that Jibreel (AS) one day came to visit Prophet Muhammed (SAW) and because Aisha (RA) was laying on the prophet's lap without a hijab, Jibreel (AS) left without meeting the prophet.
Is this a valid hadith? My family keep telling me that Malak won't visit a house if the hair of females are visible. Is this accurate?
