I was ghosting 60% of my leads by accident, now I closed 4 clients in 30 days

So three months ago I had this super embarrassing moment where someone replied to my LinkedIn post after like two weeks and I literally had no idea what we talked about, turns out I was just losing money because I couldn't keep track of who was interested in my consulting services and when to follow up

Like I'd post something that got decent engagement, people would DM me or comment, and then I'd either forget to respond or accidentally double message the same person because everything was just scattered everywhere, honestly probably missed out on half the people who actually wanted to hire me because my follow-up game was nonexistent

Eventually I just stopped doing everything manually and started scheduling posts in advance and keeping all my leads in one place so I could actually see who was hot and when to reach out, went from closing maybe one client every two months to four clients this month and I'm spending way less time stressing about it

The wildest part is I don't even think about posting anymore, everything just runs in the background and I check in maybe twice a week to see who's engaging and send follow-ups, kinda crazy how much revenue I was leaving on the table just because I was too disorganized to follow up consistently

So honestly this has been kinda wild, like I shipped my first micro-saas back in January and it took me almost 3 weeks just to get auth working, payment processing sorted out, and basic admin stuff in place, tbh I was rebuilding everything from scratch and it was brutal

Then I had this idea for a second product and I started using ShipAhead to handle all the foundation stuff, auth system, stripe integration, database schemas, email templates, the whole infrastructure basically, and suddenly I'm launching in like 8 days instead of 3 weeks, I was lowkey shocked at how much time I saved

Fast forward to product three and I literally went from idea to live in 2 days, like I'm not even exaggerating, all I had to focus on was the actual unique feature that made this product different, everything else was already there waiting for me, payment flows, user management, all that boring stuff was done

It's kinda crazy how much time we waste rebuilding the same features over and over, I used to think each project needed to be built fresh but ngl having that solid foundation to copy has been a game changer, now I'm just thinking about what else I can ship this month
