I just finished my first year of uni and I am dropping out because I am not fulfilled with the program I'm in right now. My dream since I was a kid was always to study space, until grade 12 I kept trying but I felt so stupid and acted on stupidity so I completely switched up my schedule where I had no sciences and all I did was advanced functions and even in that I gave up.

Now I realized how stupid I was and I know my only dream ever was to become and astrophysicist. If I was to go back and do high school courses in like advanced functions, calc, chemistry, and physics do I have a chance at actually getting into an astronomy or astrophysics program?

Is there any advice I could get on how to proceed or if anyone has had a similar experience?
