I just bought a 2008 Tacoma and I’m looking for a used canopy so my wife and I can sleep in the bed of the truck. I live in a very small town and there’s none available unless I drive 6+ hours one way and they aren’t cheap. There is a canopy that is currently on a 1999 Tacoma for sale an hour away and it’s only $150. Researching it seems it will fit with some weather sealing. My thought is a buy it for the summer so we can go camping then save up and get one that actually fits for next summer. The closest one actually made for a 2nd gen Tacoma is 6 hrs away and it’s $1500 but also isn’t exactly what I want so it’s hard to justify spending the $1500. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
