Is Endo surgery worth it?
I was "diagnosed" (in quotes because I haven't had the surgery) with Endometriosis recently. My OBGYN made the diagnosis based on severe left hip pain I have while on my period, as well as due to how irregular my cycle is. I also have EDS and Fibromyalgia so I'm worried that the pain might just be from that. My OBGYN wants to just treat with birth control. I was on Junel 1/20, but it was giving me migraines, so now I'm on the Lupin progesterone-only pill. He doesn't want to do the surgery because they don't really use it anymore but I also don't wanna just be taking birth control if I don't have to be. (chronically single lmao)
I'm open to any advice about this for either birth control options that have worked the best and also if the surgery would be worth it at all.
