I want a Zelda 2 Reimagining

Imagine it. A proto Souls-like remake of The Adventures of Link. A Souls-like where you are Link, with modern graphics and controls, a full storyline with cutscenes, added spells, abilities, and items. I think this would be a complete banger and a long-awaited remake for a lot of people. They kind of bombed the first version, and even its creator wasn’t completely happy with it.

From both a gamer and business perspective, I think it would be an incredible idea. If they nailed it, everyone would love it. It would also bring two completely different genres of gamers together for an awesome experience. It’s not a giant project compared to TOTK, so it would be much cheaper to make and could probably be finished in a shorter amount of time.

The nostalgia alone would get people excited, and then the experience of playing such a beautiful reimagined version could make it an instant classic. I think it would be awesome, and I’ve been hoping for this remake ever since I played the original on NES as a kid.

What do y’all think of the idea? And if it ever got made, what are some things you’d want from the remake?

Ocarina of Time Remake, who’s getting it?

Zelda is probably my favorite game of all time since childhood. I’ve stuck with it throughout all the years and loved every minute of it. I plan to buy the remake of oot but I’m kinda wondering if it’s gonna be an exact 1 to 1 of the original in terms of scope and anything added. Or will it be more like the new final fantasy 7? I’m not really sure which I’d rather have. I’m kinda worried I might get bored doing the exact same thing for the hundredth time even tho it looks amazing. But I don’t want it changed drastically because it would ruin oot. Maybe they could add some quality of life things or some items or masks or something that don’t really affect the core gameplay. What do you think?
