I’m reading the book Gut by Giulia Ender. Anyone else read this?

I’m 2 chapters in and find it fascinating.

One sentence that stood out says, “Anyone who wants to take no chances after a bout of diarrhea can buy good bacteria at the pharmacy to repopulate their gut.”

This is news to me! I have SIBO/IMO after getting food poisoning 2 years ago (confirmed with the IBS smart test)

My question is what would be the type of “good bacteria” that one could buy after getting food poisoning? If this was more common knowledge it seems like it could save folks a lot of suffering…
