how properly navigate timeline
like, by hovering the mouse above the timeline, we can:
- scroll the mousewheel, to make our "view window" move up and down. (so we can see all the elements)
- hold ctrl + scroll the mousewheel, changes the zoom level.
my questions:
- To move the "view window" horizontally/sideways, so we can navigate time, is there a movement of those sorts? (instead of having to hold spacebar/pan, and keep clicking and dragging)
- * I know it sounds not much different, but actually having some easier movement could make my life so much easier :( ... maybe there's a way of adding some shortcut for it?
- when I play the animation, my "view window" of the timeline just stays where it is, instead of following the 'needle'... so my needle just "goes away" of my view, and I have to manually be navigating, to find where the needle ended up... Is my setting maybe just wrong? Is it supposed to be just like that?
- Also when I use shortcuts "F" and "G" to move between frames, the same thing happens: my timeline "view window" just stays where it is (maybe this will have the same solution as 2?)
Thank you so much to whoever could help! 🙏
