But would brokerage work the same? Apologies if this is a dumb question, I’ve only ever traded prop, not actual futures.
You guys, dumbest question here. And it’s not totally desperate because I do have my phrase to reset the whole thing, but would rather not.
Have finally gotten a payout, and am stumbling over the security key password. I can’t remember a thing about it (made the profile a while back). Complete blank.
Apparently this is something I created, and if it’s 18+ characters (up to 40 something!?), I MUST have written it down… but is it actually a password, or is it some other encrypted bit that would be stored somewhere? Why does it say “this one is encrypted”?
I’d like to make sure I’m at least looking for the right thing here.
Also, the quick fix as mentioned, recovering it with your unique phrase, does NOT work. That starts a whole damn process of re-authenticating, which could take a while.
