Help with Outdated Layout

Sitting here at a dud of a market, directly across from a squishies seller, figuring I may as well get some feedback on our space.

My mom started vending in the 90s on Shakedown Street/ Deadlot. I took over the business/applications/communications side of things a few years ago, but my mom has stayed on as an artist, and we have conflicting opinions on layout.

We make and install macrame hairwraps and hemp jewelry. We also sell some beaded pieces at a lower price point.

I feel as though we have too much table realty, and it makes people walking by feel as though they can see everything we have to offer with just a glance. Additionally, I feel as though the huge amount of space behind the tables can come across as "low effort".

She feels as though our booth works for what we need it to. She isnt too bothered about the large amount of walk-bys, and she doesn't react well to change/ unfamiliarity, so i think thats part of the resistance.

Here's what works:

- I made clearer signage, and that has yielded positive results.

- The amount of space behind the table is great for when we are really busy and have multiple people in our chairs at once.

- Our barbicide/ pin clips are in the only spot that we can both reach without getting tangled up

- The jewelry racks are great for displaying the jewelry

Based on what yall see here, what are your thoughts both as a vendor, and as a customer walking by? Any tips for the layout?
