Confused if I should proceed with Lasik or not

I have a scar on my right cornea since I was a kid (around 4 years old scratched with a stick). Wherever I have been, the doctors are telling me I’m not a candidate for Lasik surgery due to that scar. Now I went to another doctor, and he told me I am a candidate because the scar is not affecting my vision. He did dilated exam and other exams, and told me the scar is on the right side of the cornea and the laser with pass through it. I asked for other options as PTK or PRK, but he still advised that I should do Lasik instead and he doesn’t anticipate complications. I’m confused on what should I do? All the others have told me no so far due to that scar and this doctor doesn’t see an issue to proceed with Lasik.
