I’ve been keeping fish for a while, and to be honest, most of my old setups weren’t great—bare tanks, barely any plants, colored gravel, not much space, and inconsistent care. I’m trying to do it right this time. I’m planning a 20-gallon Walstad tank and looking for good stocking ideas, including plants. I already know I want azolla and a red tiger lotus (plus I can feed extra azolla to my chickens when it overgrows). I’m not sure what fish to go with yet, but I’m into unique, exotic-looking species like upside-down catfish, pea puffers, or an albino bristlenose pleco. Any suggestions would help a lot—fish, plants, or even equipment I might need.
