book about two interesting women who tell a girl really entertaining life stories
It's a middle-grade book about two interesting (I think older?), adventurous women who tell a girl really interesting and entertaining stories about their lives. I remember they sometimes related to the women's adventures around the world. One story they told the girl involved Morocco and an escape and was a little amusing. I remember reading part of it at some point between 2007-2010, and I'm pretty sure it was published either in that time or at the very least after 2000. I am fairly sure the women were related - maybe they were sisters or half-sisters - and I think they might have been neighbors to the girl. I'm pretty sure the book was either written by a woman or a pair of women. I'm trying so hard to remember what this book was, does anybody have any idea what I'm talking about?
