Preemie Development?

FTM to the sweetest little man (7months) who was born at 32 weeks on the dot due to my preeclampsia issues. We were in the NICU for 4 weeks with various issues. Not as invasive as some stays are, but we had low o2, c-pap for a while, ng tube/feeding issues, the bili-lights, etc. I guess I have not thought that far ahead, but someone made a comment to me and I can’t stop thinking about it.

Do I need to worry extra over developmental issues related to the prematurity? The comment verbatim was “Let me know if you have any concerns regarding his development and any issues that come up! I kinda know a little about child development and the probs that tend to surface in preemies as they get older. Keep on loving him!” I’m not worried about the person or whatever (I know it can come off a certain way but that’s kinda just how they are), it just got in my head. I guess I’m looking for reassurance or if you have first hand experience, any advice or things to look out for is welcome ❤️
