Just thought I’d add some photos and info of some positive tested asbestos roof slate tiles.

305 x 610mm aka 12” x 24” asbestos slate tiles, Chrysotile. On a house in Surrey, UK

Unsure on the coating on them, wether it was done retrospectively to give them a refresh or to encapsulate or was an original coating, but it had lots of fibres bonded to it

I feel like the imperial size was the giveaway in this situation.

They seem to have a high content of fibres too.

I plan on taking a couple more photos on Monday to show raw/broken edges and the back of the tile which has a dimpled look but isn’t very pronounced when trying to feel the pattern.
