My Class 10 performance was affected by a major family circumstance. My father met with an accident, and I had to take on responsibilities in our family business, working approximately 50 hours a week alongside my studies. This affected my academics during that period, but I managed to improve my performance in the following years.

My application essays will focus on my experiences as an LGBTQ+ individual growing up in a relatively conservative environment in India, and how those experiences shaped my understanding of identity, community and belonging.
I also hope to explore how my experiences in entrepreneurship, working in my family business and building Azad Realm have influenced the way I approach leadership, responsibility and social impact.
I want my essays to reflect my personal growth and experiences rather than simply listing my achievements.
I'd appreciate an honest assessment of my overall profile and how competitive I might be for Bowdoin ED1 as an international applicant.
