Need advice for Apicoectomy with bone graft

I had a half-broken front tooth because of that did root canal 6 years ago. It worked for few years then infection came back after 2021. It used to hurt and go so i neglected.
Since last 2 years it has been hurting and when i got cbct. It shows bone loss.
I checked with my dentist. He said it might be savable because I'm young. He suggested re root canal followed by apicoectomy of both the root and bone grafting. And the front tooth has an open apex, which needs to be cut by few mm and sealed.
After 6 months, we would check how much bone is developed.
Any thoughts on its chances of getting successful?
Otherwise both the teeth needs to be removed and if this surgery can make both last for even 10 years, it is a win win.
