Does anyone know how strict is birkbeck with attendance? My partner who is doing his first year finished his first and second semester with 70-80%+ grades and in third semester he only has one classes and he missed 4 out of 8 so far(2 more remaining)
Also he went to lectures and seminars but didn’t tap for the seminars as he thought he didn’t need to
He is on settled status with student loan and attendance is 45%. He hasn’t received anything from uni yet regarding engagement but he is worried of it is too low or since he missed one and only one class a week. Is there any risks? This happened due to his work schedule changed due to new automated system and he was finishing late everyday
