There was never some huge issue between Shahid, Kriti, and Rashmika on Cocktail 2 from what I heard. Most of the rumors came from all the online gossip about Shahid not getting along with the girls.

When Rashmika moved away during that one interaction, he wasn’t initially bothered. But once the clip started going viral online, he got annoyed. He later had a conversation with her that was delivered in a very passive-aggressive but “joking” manner, and that eventually led to that whole pap moment where he kind of put her on the spot in front of everyone.

The girls actually got pretty close while filming, which is why Kriti was invited to Rashmika’s wedding and Shahid wasn’t. I also heard that Rashmika recommended Kriti for one of her husband’s future films.

Shahid can definitely be sensitive and insecure at times, but he’s kind of a mixed bag—not all bad.

On another note, Ananya is really trying to lock down a big role. She seems to be eyeing a film with an older South superstar. Apparently, some South directors aren’t too happy with Janhvi at the moment, and Ananya’s camp is trying to use that opening. Not because Janhvi was offered the specific film Ananya is after, but because she wants to position herself as the new go-to choice instead of Janhvi. Very much a “mommy dearest” strategy, lol.

She also wants to do more massy, commercial roles and is reportedly hoping that Call Me Bae Season 2 can serve as her stepping stone to Hollywood. From what I’m hearing, she’s a bit all over the place career-wise. She’s also the only nepo kid who isn’t trying to distance herself from Dharma right now. Loyalty, what can I say?

And lastly, Deepika is in talks for something pretty cool. It’s still very early days, so I don’t have many details yet, but if it works out, it’ll definitely make big news.
