$2.20 base pay for a 10 mile delivery just because the customer tipped well? So basically DoorDash is capping any upside to truly earn a lot on orders, because their base pay is definitely determined by the tip amount. That’s trash.

I had a shorter delivery yesterday and the base pay was $7, because the customer only tipped $4.

And yes, I’m new to this. Been dashing for a few weeks. There’s simply no scenario where they should be allowed to pay me the lowest possible bare minimum base pay for a 10 mile delivery. Vultures. 🖕🏼

Please be serious. This should be an arrestable offense.
