Why did the Geth exterminate almost the entire Quairan species instead of just defending themselves in during the Morning War? And why was this near total extermination of the Quarians not brought up during the Rannoch Arc of Mass Effect 3?

Why did the Geth exterminate almost the entire Quairan species instead of just defending themselves in during the Morning War? And why was this near total extermination of the Quarians not brought up during the Rannoch Arc of Mass Effect 3?

So in the Mass Effect Novel Revelations on page 116 it is mentioned that the Geth killed over 99% of the entire Quarian population. That means that the Geth killed almost almost entirely Quarian civilians and not the Quarian Police and Military who were the oness trying to exterminate the Geth. Also not to mention that in the Geth Memory Logs in ME3 you see Quarians who were standing up for the Geth to defend them while risking imprisonment or even death for themselves, meaning the Geth should know that not every Quarian wanted them dead and many wanted to protect them, yet the Geth killed almost all Geth sympathizers anyways. Not only that but they even killed non Quarians on Rannoch like the Baria Frontiers Representative's bondmate who was an Asari visiting Rannoch at the time and also attacked Council diplomatic ships attempting to communicate with the Geth? Why did the Geth kill almost every organic instead of just the Quarians who were trying to shut them down/exterminate them? And why did ME3 not mention this at all?

Why did the Terminus Systems go from being this big threat in ME1 to being a copy paste of the Attican Traverse in later installments.

So in Mass Effect 1 the Council does not want to send a fleet into the Terminus Systems to avoid sparking a war with the "Terminus Systems species". Also the reason why nobody settled Virmire was because it was too close to the Terminus Systems. However in Mass Effect 2 there are at least 12 human colonies in the Terminus Systems with hundreds of thousands of people each as Feedoms Progress has 912,810 people and Horizon has 654,390 people. The Only Species native to the Terminus Systems in ME2 are the Vorcha and Quarians as well as the Geth. I mean who did the Coucil really think they would start a war with that was such a big threat, the Blood Pack? Why did the Terminus Systems change so much from entire other species and governments to the biggest threat being groups like the Blood Pack and it is no more dangerous then the Attican Traverse?

How exactly does the Synthesis ending work? And why is it so inconsistent?

So in the Synthesis ending it is not very clear how everything works. Like for example everything organic including planets have circuitry in them but Synthetics like the Geth just have glowing Green eyes. Also in the ending cutscenes the Genophage is cured somehow even if you Sabotage it but Joker is still limping, meaning he still has brittle bone disease. Also EDI says that she is "alive" in this ending implying that she still has free will but Urdnot Wreav if he is in charge of the Krogan all of a sudden becomes peaceful, implying that Synthesis is affecting his thoughts and behaviour. Also Husks and Reaper ground forces become sentient too despite many like the Cannibals and Brutes being a mix of multiple different species. Why is Synthesis still so inconsistent and confusing out of all the three endings?

Why is the Council so much more harsh to the Krogan and Quarians then they were to the Batarians?

So during the Krogan Rebellions the Turians deployed the Genophage to stop the Krogan from reproducing quickly. However the kept the Genophage for 1476 years, long after the Krogan rebellions ended with it only being cured by player choice in ME3. The Council also revoked the Quarian embassy, denied them aid and blocked them from settling new planets, and does nothing to stop discrimination against Quarians after the morning war/creation of the Geth, continuing to punish them for 290 years until ME3. However the Council did not do anything like that to the Batarians, who in 1785 CE, bombarded the salarian colony world of Mannovai; in 1913, the Batarian Hegemony annexed a independent asari colony called Esan, in 2115, Citadel forces fought with Batarian forces on the planet Enael and lead a slave raid on Mindoir in 2170. The Council did not revoke their embassy, instead the Hegemony left willingly in 2171 after the Council refused to give them the entire Skillian Verge. Why did the Council treat the Krogan and Quarians so much worse then the Batarians?

Why did the Systems Alliance not care that over 1 million colonists were abducted by the Collectors in ME2 from Freedoms Progress and Horizon alone?

So In Mass Effect 2 it seems like the Colonies abducted were small and remote. However Freedoms Progress has a population of 912,810 and Horizon had a population of 654,390, however only a third of the population was taken from Horizon, meaning over 1 million people were taken from the two colonies, there was 12 hit in total meaning if all of them had populations similar to Freedoms Progress and Horizon, over 10 million people could have be abducted in total. Why did the Alliance not seem to care about this very much and only Cerberus cared about it when this is not a small problem when it should be The Alliance's number one priority at the time of ME2?

Who is the bigger joke out of the two? Kai Leng or Dr Conrad Verner?

For me it has to be Kai Leng as Conrad Verner is supposed to be funny while Kai Leng is not but is unintentionally very funny.

Why is Cerberus so overpowered and overused, especially in ME3, but also throughout the entire trilogy?

So people here often mention that Cerberus is way to powerful in Mass Effect 3 due to having an extremely large army of thousands and an entire fleet and managing to take over Omega and Eden Prime. However even in Mass Effect 1 the knew about the Rachni and Thorian creepers before anyone else did and also somehow figured out how to make Husks. And in ME2 they managed to revive Commander Shepard from the dead and build a better Normandy then the original. Also they were a minor side mission bad guys in ME1 but afterwards in ME2 and ME3 plus all the other side material they became a main faction? Why is this?

Why do the games, in Particular ME3 seem to gloss over the fact the the Geth killed over 99% of the Quarians and make the Geth seem like innocent victims who only defended themselves?

Especially with the Geth Consensus mission on Rannoch in ME3 shows a very one sided view of the Quarians as the only ones in the wrong when then Geth killed over 99% of the Quarian population. Even in ME1 Commander Shepard chastises Tali for her ancestors actions against them and the Geth were completely hostile in ME1 which makes no sense as to why Shepard would defend them.

Is it normal that I find the Synthesis(Green) ending really unsettling and dystopian?

Like everything has this weird green glow to it. Every single living thing seems to be glowing unnaturally. Also not to mention all the husks and reaper enemies gain sentience as well. It feels really quite disturbing to me.

Who is the dumber Villain out of the two? Warden Kuril or Kai Leng?

I would say that Kai Leng is dumber due to being an edgelord. At least Kuril seems to fit in universe while Leng is a literal joke who sends you edgy emails.

Why is Shepard so out of the loop in Mass Effect 3 when Shepard has extranet access due to Thane sending video messages that were blocked?

So in ME3 Thane Sends you messages that were sent to Commander Shepard's extranet when they were under house arrest. However they were blocked due to Thane being a professional assassin. Even with communications restricted Shepard should have at least learned some of what happened between ME2 and ME3 as they could just search it up and others being major news stories like Cerberus taking over Omega or the Batarian refugees arriving in Alliance space. Why is Shepard so out of the loop then?
