I have worked for the VA 22ys, I was hired for two positions in two months and my supervisor has blocked both opportunities for me. I have another interview Monday but if he’s going to keep refusing to let me go, why even bother interviewing? Am I going to have to quit my job so that I can get a new job? This is evil 😈
I was hired as a social services assistant, got my offer, did my pre employment screening completed it, i was supposed to be in the May 18th training class. Come to find out my Supervisor didn’t want to release me from my current position. Not because they love and need me so much but because they don’t have backup to process home health orders. Why is this my problem??? Now the next training class is July or September. WTH??? Now they say I may have to reapply. Why would the universe play such a cruel joke on me??? I’m devastated. The suicide line can wait because I am being held hostage at a desk, filing papers.
