im working on a series, and there’s many protagonists, and idk if they went too far.

for Jaden Kaisen:

basically, he starts a rebellion against a world government that controls 80% of the world, but the thing is that he’s not even from this world.

at first he’s saving people and freeing cities, with 4 other people as his team, sharing the same goal. but later on, his actions led to towns destroyed, global war, hundreds of thousands of deaths, many of the people fear him.

at some point i wrote that he questions himself as a savior or a terrorist.

this book specifically is supposed to portray him as the savior of the world, about freedom vs control.

for Francis Corleone:

he’s a mafia family descendent, then a prince of a kingdom.

he led a military alliance army named The Forge against a hundred kingdoms allied against them.

a rumor spread about a spy, which led to him massacring 90% of his army. and he soon on fell in the ocean and lost consciousness for like 50 years (long lifespan).

he woke up, and became a great fighter, a bounty hunter, but his brother who’s been searching for him, and basically told him what he did. which made him determined to redeem himself, but he don‘t even know when to stop.

which he made a team of bounty hunters, destined to kill criminals. but almost his whole team gets wiped out by a cult, and he goes back to who he was and promised to kill off that cult.

so the rest of the story is just him defeating the cult bases and hunting down criminals with his last few teammates.

at last, there’s a religious revival where the old world government that Jaden defeated came back and allied with the cult. so he joined under Jaden’s fleet and basically killed off ”the gods.”

and this is the part where im not sure whether my protagonists are just killing machines with heavy emotions or they are really just morally grey.
