I have cleared 2 levels of CFA and a Bcom graduate. Graduated in 2023 and cleared CFA level 2 last year i have no real work experience just some projects i built and a certification on valuation and financial modelling. I live in a toxic household and was not always a bright student so the journey of clearing exams was not easy and i suffered a-lot mentally. I did an internship in 2024 after clearing cfa level 1 which was worthless so decided to just build some projects and apply but my house mentally drained me. Looking at the job market every role i come across requires experience. MBA/CA’s are preferred over CFA’s even for core asset management and research roles. I want to get out of my house as soon as possible but i am at cross roads. Should i leave the dream of core asset management and research roles and just get a KPO type job in eclerx etc……….
