The Cost of one dream
In life, when you want something badly enough, you slowly start sacrificing everything for it. First your choices, then your hobbies, then the people around you. You slowly become distant from your own circle and one day, even from your family while living under the same roof. I just turned 17, and I’ve been working toward one thing with everything I have. But lately the problems have become so overwhelming that it feels strange looking back at how much I ignored, how much I left behind, and how much time I gave to it. Sometimes you sit quietly and wonder if the dream is still worth the distance it created between you and everything else.
