Xcover 6 Pro Repair Advice
I need to replace the USB sub board on my xcover 6 pro because I'm an idiot and did what I shouldn't have done to clear some debris that has gotten lodged in the port and realized it 12 seconds after I did it.
I've got a replacement board and some tape from ifixit to reattach the screen afterwards. Since I can't find any direct guides for it (or direct fit replacements for the adhesive on the screen sadly), I'm planning on following a general tear down and reassembly online and just putting the new sub board in when I do. I plan to use a hair dryer to loosen the screen and I'll go from there.
Anything I'm missing? Anything I would know? I've spent enough time inside desktops that I'm not totally out of my depth, but I'm not used to having to use tape on things.
