Help! These stains are driving me insane. Can anyone tell me how to remove them??
Hello dear redditors!!
My partner has recently bought a beautiful 120cm terrarium off of marketplace. Unfortunately, it has those very persistent stains on it. They are everywhere and we can not figure out how to get rid of them.
The pictures attached are the result after trying:
- window cleaner
- limestone remover
- citric acid
- scouring cream
- chlorine
- vinegar concentrate
- acetone based nail polish
We thought it would be an easy fix. Just a little build up from the water in our area. It doesn't seem to be that. We have no idea what was kept in this terrarium before we bought it so unfortunately we don't know what this could be. We've tried letting it soak in basically all of those cleaners. Wipe, scrub, rinse. Gentle, a little less gentle.
It's such a nice terrarium, it would be a waste to throw it out. Does anyone have ANY idea what we can do?
