Hello all just a quick one I've had 5 fits on the 16th of December wasn't diagnosed with epilepsy until another night seizure last Wednesday and was put on lamotrigine,l 100mg day and night, it's currently an 8 month waiting list to see a neurologist on the NHS wales.

MRI and EEG showed signs but couldn't they couldn't say

In the mean time contacted spire and they looked at my MRI briefly this is what was said.

The LEFT hippocampus/amygdala part of the temporal lobe is indeed bulky, but the cause of this is unclear. It might be a hamartoma, it might be a small low grade lesion or it may be a ‘birthmark’. In effect. 

Im absolutely shitting myself I need another MRI with contrast.

Just hope all is ok im losing my mind
