Falling in love with Minecraft again

Recently, after watching a newcomer try and beat the game, I was inspired to start a survival world of my own. Despite having played a lot of Minecraft when I was younger, I had never actually beaten the ender dragon before. I always preferred jumping into creative mode to enjoy building without having to gather all of the resources. That’s still true, today, since all of the screenshots in this post are from my current creative world which I intend to build in for a long time.

Anyway, seeing a survival world through to the End was a really fun experience. Even though I did die and lose my gear a lot. I don’t feel any motivation to go back into my survival world, since I’ve accomplished my goal, but building in creative has been great. It’s still surprisingly time-consuming, and I wish I had more to show for my time in this world but I guess I still have more building ahead of me.

I suppose my next challenge could be building something nice in survival mode, I wonder how long that would take.

The YT video I was referring to is titled ‘i tried to beat Minecraft without knowing how to play’ by Rue
