I’ve been a tenant in the same apartment for the last 3 years, and asked the landlord that I want to pay month to month as per the new law instead of the 6 month in advance, but he says that based on NRLA (National Residential Landlord Association) and the new law, payment terms of existing contracts signed before May 2026 are remaining valid especially for advance payment. Is that true??
