I've been dealing with lip issues since December. I was using Aquaphor in December and nothing was getting better, lips were still tight and dry. My friend recommended lanolin and I used it for 2 months before realizing it was doing more harm than good. I stopped everything and started just using vaseline. Still no help. Went to the dermatologist in March and she gave me a steroid cream, cleared up for 2 weeks, but came back with vengeance. She then put me on methylprednisolone. Cleared up for a week or two and came back pissed. I've only been using vaseline and cerave healing ointment, but things aren't getting any better and they still feel super dry and tight. They itch, weep fluid sometimes, they HURT. NO IT IS NOT HSV, I've been tested twice and both were negative. I am currently on doxycycline but I'm not feeling very hopeful. I'll attach photos in order.
