Does recent bankruptcy disqualify me from getting approved for an apartment?
A month ago I filed for bankruptcy (mostly medical debt), and I’m wondering if it’s still possible to get an apartment that the marketing agency pre-qualified me for. Technically I don’t have any accounts in collections because all my debt was discharged, but I imagine the bankruptcy (and credit below 570) could still be a problem. Has anyone been in a similar situation?
Unfortunately submitting my last 12 months of rent payments isn’t an option for me if it needs to include this month.
