First week of July with a toddler and a kid in Seoul, Is it worth it?
First week of July with a toddler and a kid in Seoul — is it worth it?
Hi everyone! We’re a family from the Philippines planning an anniversary trip to Seoul during the first week of July next year. We’ll be traveling with:
an 18-month-old toddler
a 9-year-old child
I’ve been researching a lot, but I wanted to hear from people who have actually experienced Seoul with kids around this season.
A few things I’m worried/curious about:
Is early July already considered rainy season in Korea?
How bad is the humidity and heat?
Is it manageable with a stroller and toddler?
Are there enough indoor activities if it rains a lot?
How exhausting is the walking compared to Japan?
Would you still recommend Seoul for a family anniversary trip with young kids, or would it feel stressful?
We’re hoping for a mix of:
family-friendly attractions
relaxing/scenic areas
good food
maybe some romantic spots for parents too 😅
We’re considering places like:
Lotte World
COEX Aquarium
Han River parks
Nami Island
kids cafés/playgrounds
maybe a day trip outside Seoul
Would love honest opinions:
If you’ve done Seoul in July with children, was it worth it? Any regrets, tips, or things you wish you knew beforehand?
Thank you!
