Anyone been on HC and went to Prednisone? How was the transition? Did you feel better?
Constant as day goes on sailboat feeling. Tired of it.
Read a few who did and felt better and lost weight. .

What a mess. endo wanted me on testosterone, but it must be pellets by him. I do not want pellets. My gynecologist prescribed from CVS testosterone now this is a male testosterone. His reasoning was continuity, which I would have to agree with because I’ve had a compounded before, and they put estrogen and progesterone in it, and I was awful. But I asked my Endo well he check my blood work. Keep a check on it. He said no. You’re not getting it for me. It’s not my problem. now this is for men he told me to take a pee size, but this is for men. Does anybody know the proper amount? I made a call to his office and I’m waiting. But what I did was, I put it on a piece of tinfoil and took a knife and just took a little bit of it and like an idiot I put it on my shoulder instead of my calf. If anybody knows a proper amount, please let me know so I can get a syringe to properly measure this. the funny thing I put this on for perplexity and they were calling it patient and abandonment and you should call an attorney and start laughing. They all should be reported. Sorry talk to text and it won’t let me correct
Nothing different in eating. On HC. Was coming down but now I don’t know. Tingling last night on left side
Cholesterol went from 200 which is normal for me since a teen. But went to 240! Triglycerides are 168 HDL is 68 and LDL is 140. I was just given to testosterone. Don’t know if I should start it. I’ve been reading not to. It’s in a jell.
I am on 830 progesterone and estrogen progesterone is 100, estrogen is 0.0375
Knew it would come. Been on famoditine since last year. On 18 mg of HC. Was recommended to take succlafate called the glass coating for gut. Can’t take a ppi had cdiff years ago.
Can’t get ahold of Endo, pcp in Europe and no one to cover. I have it, 2 yrs old. Does not ruin flora just take hour before your med. Probably end up on prednisone. Had a Cleveland clinic meeting for opinion. That was interesting.told totally different things.
On HC. Hate to ups and downs and for me it’s the high feeling. Not a good high. High Bp, on pain meds for years, take as needed and I do.
Yesterday I took HC but spaced them out a bit more since the weather was hitting me. However I had a lot of energy! Till 4 pm. Shaking and weak like normal. Last dose was 4 pm. But was Chipping my pain meds because in the heat in the morning I was finally working outside!!! It was heaven. But dinner was a nightmare .
Anyone switch from HC to prednisone?
Gained 30 lbs! Started HRT but can’t take the testosterone, feel awful. New gyno in July, king of hormone replacement
Just asking for help and knowledge. I know one can pack on pounds. Have osteoporosis taking almond milk,Greek yogurt , vitamin b12, D3 , K2.
If anyone switched from HC to Prednisone please advise. I hear it can give you pmt. Rats your hip and need surgery. Not a doc, we’re not docs. Hubs was on prednisone for 2 years, had hip replacement. I just t see being on HC for life. It’s destroyed it ready. Doc is no help. Thank you. Sorry it’s so long.
Raised Bp, chest discomfort and my heart is good, internal shaking. On Greenstone! 20 mg. When it’s time for a dose, body feels it take the pill go down hill quick. This stinks. Getting worse! This is no life!
On HC. Last blood test cortisol went from 13 to 8. Thyroid is ok.
How do we get this weight off? On 20-22.5 mg a day.
Yes low carb, low fat. Did leg lifts yesterday now groin is killing me.
Seeing Endo tomorrow, pcp today that runs more blood tests than Endo. Thank God I did not start thyroid med, in functional range. All “T’s”. exhausted today. At wits end. Crash at 6-8 pm.
Does anyone take HC by injection daily, don’t even know if it’s offered. Concerned about gut and liver.
