just got these from goodwill (USA), $8.99

some discussion with chat GPT has led me to believe they are vintage 1980-1990s, from when Aldo made shoes in Europe (labeled, made in Bulgaria)

leather feels super soft, but also thin somehow?

“I” on the zipper apparently is a good sign. Size 44 —> European size…

any thoughts or info welcome. I also wonder can I get these resoled? the sound when walking is underwhelming
