Many times on Instagram with the accounts i follow i see a ton of really cool tools and patches that people have on their patreons. I always find myself in conflict though between feeling like i should try to do it myself or just using/purchasing someones tool and not re-inventing the wheel.

For instance im never going to be able to recreate some of these high quality lighting and reflection solvers that people have meticulously made.

How do other creators feel about it? I dont think theres really any right or wrong answer here but I'd like to hear what people think about using other peoples tools, paid or otherwise, to continue creating with vs. creating your own version of the tool/approach to the problem.
