Water damaged phone... can it be saved?
So I recently dropped my iphone 14 pro in the lake for approximately 30-40 seconds (as i fought for my life to retrieve it). Sadly I was dumb and left it on for a while after that thinking it was all good and dandy. This is because as soon as I got it out, it seemed perfect. Everything worked. Later that day, I noticed the camera lenses were very foggy and realized they had water moisture inside of them. My volume is kind of wonky as well. The volume button tweaks out sometimes, other times it doesnt. Besides that, the phone seems fine. However, I understand its probably a ticking time bomb, so I have backed up everything, and just bought some silica packets in bulk. Im hoping to see if they are able to remove some of the moisture from the camera lenses? and hopefully also fix whatever is going on with the volume. My phone is probably cooked (i understand). But I wanted to know if anyone has had a similar experience and / or if something besides going to a shop worked?
