Capybaras Can Attack Humans if Necessary
This is a reminder that capybaras are wild, territorial animals and not the cuddely gentle giants as many would like to believe. The video shows a woman probably got into a personal territory of a capybara with babies involved. The attack we see from the capybara is self-defense and not vile hostility. This is how the original posters described the scene:
"A woman filming her swim was surprised when a capybara suddenly came out of the water. She tried to push it away, but the capybara ignored her, climbed on her back, and bit her head. The shocking moment was caught on camera, showing the unexpected attack during her swim."
At the end of the video, we see a reasonable reaction from the man holding a piece of wood with apparent nails stricking out of it. However, it is probably was in the intention to harm the animal.
