Level -890 : The Soft Horizon

Level -890 : The Soft Horizon
Survival Difficulty : Class Soft
Complete Safe
Relax
Peaceful

Description:
Level -890, named The Soft Horizon. The name says it all: an unimaginably peaceful place, bathed in warm light, embraced by soft, fluffy clouds, cool breezes, flocks of birds, and nature sculpted with gentle, soft lines. It is one of the rare stable and safe levels in the Negative Level system.
Levels are a collection of diverse landscapes and rich nature suspended in the air and constantly shifting, from lush green plains and meadows to towering temperate forests, mingled with deep blue rivers, lakes, and seas, and snow-capped mountains like stylish white hats. Everywhere you look, you'll find structures ranging from familiar to bizarre, randomly distributed throughout. Level also has areas called unfinished zones or X Zones, consisting of terrains and structures only shown with black pencil lines like a framework. These areas will continue to be completed as living things pass through them; even a green leaf flying by is enough to trigger the completion process in those areas.
The Soft Horizon's ecosystem is incredibly diverse and divided into zones. To date, humans have identified the levels in order from top to bottom:
Level A: This is the most open area, bathed in warm light, with cool and warm weather almost year-round. Due to its highest altitude, the terrain in this area is sometimes foggy due to low-lying and large clouds, even forming cloud mountains directly above the terrain. It has the most grasslands and plains, and the trees here are of moderate size because they don't need to compete much for sunlight.
Level B: From Level B downwards, the light gradually decreases due to shadows from the terrain and higher clouds. The climate at Level B is cool and humid due to low evaporation rates. The vegetation here consists of many giant, towering trees with trunks that can reach a radius of 10 meters. The trees here are called Soft Trees, with thick trunks, reddish-brown bases, and extremely wide canopies. They generally don't store much water due to the excess water in the terrain at Level B. From Level B onwards, the phenomenon of a Superwaterfall is rare, occurring when a terrain above has a sufficient amount of water, potentially causing heavy rain or flooding as the water evaporates or doesn't have time to evaporate.
Level C: The Swamp World. Due to the excessive amount of water and low frequency of strong sunlight, a lot of water accumulates here, forming giant, suspended swamps. The climate is humid and rainfall is high. Level D: The Shimmering Forests, shrouded in darkness, is the deepest place humans have ever reached. Known for being obscured by massive, low-lying clouds, the dark conditions allow giant carnivorous plants to bioluminescent to attract prey, and some species even emit sounds to lure them. The abundance of water makes it extremely humid. It is considered a dangerous area and access should be restricted.

Levels are defined by the varying number of floating landforms in the air between different areas.

In terms of environment, Level D experiences all four seasons—spring, summer, autumn, and winter—with varying amounts of sunshine and rainfall. Along with the stable day-night cycle, with the Sun and Moon alternating positions, a day here is defined as 45 hours long.

The terrain here is constantly shifting at a speed of approximately 10 meters per day, sometimes resulting in minor or major collisions depending on the circumstances.

Each terrain in the area contains at least one structure.

Entities:
Due to the diverse ecosystem, The Soft Horizon is home to a vast array of living organisms, divided into three main areas:

Aerial:
Includes entities whose primary habitat is the air, such as:
- Handree: Large white birds, widely distributed in the air.

- Hankree: Large black birds, quite numerous in the lower layers.

- The Soft Thing: An entity resembling a Sperm Whale but with eight eyes, incredibly large, comparable in size to a large floating island. Considered the representative entity of The Soft Horizon, it is a single individual that reproduces asexually. It is a benign entity that does not actively attack, typically omnivorous, feeding by opening its mouth wide to devour objects suspended in the air. It usually moves in the air in Layers A and B due to the more light and comfort.
-Caskal: A bioluminescent flying jellyfish species concentrated in Layers D and C.

Community: Level currently has 4 major levels: The East, The South, The North, and The West, with their main areas of operation being Layers A and B. They utilize advanced technologies. Currently, The East and The West have developed air travel and are thriving in sky trade. When new people arrive, they can visit these communities to apply for permission to join and settle. M.E.G and TCMHO (From The Crimson Landscape) have also recently established headquarters here to conduct research.

Entrance and Exit:

Entrance: Look for a door depicting a sky, clouds, and meadow at Level 37. Alternatively, go through the Exit Door at Level 955 or Level -955, which will randomly lead you here.

Exit: A Noise Door in a certain structure within the terrain of this area will take you to Level -1.

This material will continue to be updated as new discoveries are made.

Level -955 : The Negative Crimson Landscape ( The Beauty of Chaos)

Level -955: The Negative Crimson Landscape
Class: Glitch Zone
Lies
Temptation
Disintegration
Description:
-A beautiful, magical, and dreamlike land where lies become truth and truth is distorted to the point of worthlessness. It's the other side of The Crimson Landscape, a place of completely contrasting beauty. This is an incredibly magical industrial suburb where realities overlap, tear apart, or are disrupted; you can see structures floating in the air, the disturbances and chaos of different areas. It boasts a highly diverse ecosystem with a dominant dark blood-red color scheme, and numerous structures are scattered everywhere, from the air and the ground to those submerged in surfaces or overlapping with other structures. The sky is a constant, dazzling white expanse interspersed with dark, ominous clouds that drain away all hope but offer only dreams. The seasons here are rainy and dry. Essentially, this place is incredibly safe until you completely disintegrate.

Entity:
No entities have been recorded.
The only entity considered to govern this level is The Negative Crimson Cube.

Community:
-Due to the bizarre nature of the environment, no community exists here.

Exit and Entrance:
-Find a slightly glitchy, old metal door, wrapped in dark, blood-red tape, at an abandoned factory in Level 955: The Crimson Landscape. Find a key; the door will lead you to a deep, square spiral staircase that leads to this level. Currently, this is the only known way to reach this Level; there are also several theories about the entrance at Level -2 or Level -4.

-The exit is undetermined but is speculated to be similar to The Crimson Landscape, featuring a brand-new metal door covered in green vines, leading to any Level and changing position every 28 hours.

Because it's a new and difficult-to-define level, there isn't much information available about it yet.

Level 955: The Crimson Landscape. This level possesses a large nuclear power plant that supplies energy to the entire level. This plant, called the Crimson Nuclear Power Plant (TCPTP), is capable of self-operation and self-repair without any human intervention.
In the early stages of Level 955's population growth, the wanderers began to take notice of the plant, so they formed an organization called the Energy Security Organization. Their role was to monitor the plant, assign skilled technicians to oversee its operations, and deploy security teams to ensure its safety. Because it was early, the plant's security force wasn't very large, as people still believed the plant was self-sufficient and didn't need overly strict security measures. Level enjoyed a period of peace for about 10 years since the first community was established there, but then, that fateful day arrived. Eight days before the next Sleeping Moon Cycle, many technicians and security personnel usually spent their time packing up to go home and rest, leaving only a few to continue managing the factory. Taking advantage of this moment of low vigilance, a group of four members—James, Kavy, Edward, and Jack—who had recently escaped from a mental hospital and were relatively stable after a long period of treatment, wanted to do something big to have a strong impact on the people of this place, as it had caused them to be in such a state of mental turmoil (because they had escaped during a Sleeping Moon Cycle, but were fortunately quickly brought back in, so their minds were not completely shut down). Before the Sleeping Moon Cycle, the four of them infiltrated the factory one by one. Edward and James took on kitchen duties, while Jack and Kavy worked as janitors. Then, on the first day of the four-day Sleeping Moon Cycle, around 6 p.m., the factory workers gathered in the dining area for dinner. Unbeknownst to them, their food had been laced with a potent hallucinogen, paralyzing them and rendering them unconscious. Just hours after dinner, the workers were all in a trance, completely losing their vigilance. Seeing this, the four arsonists immediately acted. They brought a large amount of homemade explosives to key areas of the factory. Because the factory was so large, it took them several hours to complete the task. Then they quickly left the factory, went to a nearby bus stop, and, just as the last bus was arriving, they quickly boarded the bus and went to a very distant area. At the factory, after a period of unconsciousness, many people woke up. They hurriedly woke their colleagues and checked the factory's condition. The factory was still operating smoothly; the cooling system, waste treatment, etc., were all functioning normally. But no one suspected that this was only the calm before the storm. Time slowly passed until 1:00 AM on August 2nd, 2010. While the residents were asleep and the plant workers were still happily going about their work, no one knew that this would be the most terrifying day they had ever experienced. At 1:40 AM, while everyone was asleep, a large light flashed, illuminating the entire sky, accompanied by a rumbling sound, a slight tremor, and the deafening sound of the Nuclear Disaster alarm, shattering the silence of the night in the Cycle. This woke everyone up; some opened their windows, others were stunned, and still others were panicked, unable to comprehend what was happening. A few minutes later, an announcement blared, instructing residents to stay indoors. Everything in Level remained still until the next morning. The following morning, support forces were able to arrive to deal with the situation directly. They erected a large barrier around the incident area, and many went inside to check the wreckage for any survivors. And then horrific scenes gradually unfolded: bodies lay scattered everywhere in the rubble, many mutilated by debris, some cut, some crushed, some unidentifiable. Blood flowed profusely; many were severely burned beyond recognition. Some survived, clinging to life for only a few minutes before dying. The scene was utterly tragic. Staff worked tirelessly, stretchers carrying the critically injured and barely clinging to life constantly moved in and out. Those still clinging to life were taken to nearby medical stations for treatment. Many, overwhelmed with despair, begged for release. Their relatives tried to visit but were not allowed inside. Cries of grief echoed throughout the area. Doctors and nurses gathered many leaves from Level to bandage wounds; these leaves helped wounds heal faster and recover more quickly. In addition, victims were given The Crimson Cake to stabilize their mood and aid in healing. However, many were so severely injured that they had to have necrotic tissue removed, and many others, unable to bear the pain any longer, chose to end their lives in various ways. The recovery and rescue efforts took a long time to complete. That night, as the rescuers continued to approach the ruins, they donned bulky metal suits to reduce the intensity of the shockwaves affecting their nervous systems. As they approached, at 3 PM, the entire disaster area was restored, returning to its original state as if nothing had happened. Many observant people noticed that the plants and trees that had been cut and uprooted during the day had all been restored. Everyone was surprised by this; perhaps Level had the ability to regenerate itself after each day from major damage. As time passed, rescue and medical efforts gradually decreased. After the incident, The Crimson Landscape's editorial office published breaking news about the event, and radio and television stations also reported extensively on it. In other Levels, however, it wasn't until after someone escaped from Level 955 that the information was widely published in their newspapers. A few days after the incident, the entire Level began investigating the cause of the incident, but most of the staff were gone, so they didn't have much information. However, there was one crucial piece of information: the psychiatric hospital then realized there was an omission in the patient list and reported that about four patients had escaped. As a result, the residents of Level created wanted posters and distributed them everywhere. After extensive searches across Level, the villagers finally apprehended the four culprits. These individuals were then brought to trial amidst the outrage and hatred of both humans and Dark Mannequins. However, due to their history of mental illness, their sentences were mitigated; they were sentenced to life imprisonment, plus a fine of 800,000 Crimson. Because they were unable to pay, they were not granted the same medical treatment as other prisoners. This court decision remains controversial, with many believing these individuals should have been executed instead of receiving a life sentence. This event became a shocking event in The Backrooms, and ironically, this traumatic event helped many wanderers learn more about Level 955, leading to numerous organizations from The Backrooms establishing bases there, such as the B.W.O. Organization, the M.E.G. Organization, etc. This level was later officially classified as Class 2, and more and more wanderers came to live there. This disaster not only increased the awareness of those living in the level, but also caused significant changes to the level afterward.

Now, Level 955: The Crimson Landscape has been established by the wanderers who have formed a government with their own laws and policies, functioning as a real nation. This community is called the Crimson Republic, one of the largest communities in The Backrooms.

Later, more and more documents about Level 955: The Crimson Landscape were discovered and researched, as well as more secrets.

This event reminded the wanderers never to be complacent about their fellow beings. And any mistake can have a very high price, even if that mistake is as small as a grain of sand.
