2008 MY A/C issues
Summer is here and I need the A/C to deal with 90+ heat. My 2008 3.2 dual A/C started blowing weak cool air about a year ago. This winter it stopped blowing any cool air at all. During one time in January when the temperature went up to 80 and I cranked the AC to the lowest temp, only hot air came out and caused the car overheating during stop and go traffic.
I replaced the compressor relief valve and pulled the vacuum on both low and high sides for 24 hours and no leak. Today when I dumped the first 12oz R134a, the low side went up to 70psi and the high went over 350psi. I quickly turned off the car and now both rested at about 150psi. Does it mean there is a blockage somewhere? The low side tube around the valve are warm to hot but the high side out of the compressor are burning hot to touch.
Any ideas before I take it in to a shop? They wants $140 to run some diagnostics.
