Address change on PO
I have a PO on the app for a couple of items that are releasing on July 19. I was trying to request an address change through both the app and the website but it wouldn’t let me do so even though the item hasn’t entered the shipping stages.
Called customer service and they told me to call back when I get the email saying that the order is being prepared to be shipped and they should be able to change the address then. I asked again to clarify that they want me to contact Target and not the shipping company (Fedex or UPS) once the order enters the shipping stages and the agent confirmed that that was indeed what they meant.
Does this sound right? I have trouble believing this since it directly contradicts what is written on the FAQs. Does anyone have a similar experience or enough familiarity with the backend fulfillment system to be able to verify the correctness of this advice?
